NOTICE OF SALE BY SEALED BID

The City of Pilot Grove is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the following City-owned vehicle:

2000 GMC Sierra 2500 SLE
Approximately 260,000 miles

Vehicle Information

Air conditioning works but may need charging.
Fuel gauge is faulty.
Four-wheel drive works; however, 4-Low does not engage/lock in.
Structural frame crack above the rear axle
Transmission was recently serviced/repaired and is under warranty.
No known fluid leaks.
Radiator is equipped with a block heater.
New headlights.

Bid Instructions

Sealed bids must be submitted to City Hall no later than 3:00 p.m. on October 5, 2026.

All sealed bids must be clearly marked “2000 GMC.”

The vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Interested bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicle prior to submitting a bid.

The City of Pilot Grove reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

The vehicle is located and can be viewed in the City Hall parking lot.
